Nikolai Dyadiura
Nikolai Dyadiura was born in Kijów, here he finished studies in National Conservatorium under direction professor Roman Kofman. In 1987 he began his conductor career achieving prices- regulation and special from Japanese United of Composers during International Composers Composition in Tokio. After competition he received invitation from Seija Ozawa for scholarship to Unites States when he studied with S. Ozawa, L. Bernstein, A. Prewin. In 1988 he won the price during International Conductor Competition in Budapest. During 1986-1988, Dyadiura was Artistic Director and Main Conductor of Symphonic Orchestra in Omsk (Russia), in 1989- 1996 Dyadiura was Main Conductor of Seul Symphonic Orchestra Kwang Dju ( Korea).
Since 1988 he is conductor of National Opera of Ukraina. Since 1996 he also lead National Symphonic Orchestra of Ukraina ; he is also Main Conductor of this orchestra. Since this time he connects operatic and philharmonic activity. He is conductor and producer of spectacles performing by National Opera of Ukraine – Rossini’s “The Barber of Seville”, Puccini’s “Bohemians”, Verdi’s “Rigoletto” and new version Donizetti’s “Łucja from Lammermoor”.
Nikolai Dyadiura started cycle of symphonic concerts in National Philharmonic of Ukraine, inter alia: “Beethoven’s all symphonies” and “Brahm’s all concert and symphonies” (170 of birth anniversary of artist).
He conducted as a first on Ukraine ( during festival for celebrate 200 of birth anniversary of artist) performing pieces of Berlioz: “Romeo and Julia”, “Requiem ” and “ Te Deum” and also performing G. Paisiello’s “Coronation mess”.
Since 2003 he started special cycles of performances : “Symphonies
of 20th century” (2003/2004). Dyadiura is conductor and producer of a lot of projects of music and theatre character which go on the stage of National Philharmonic of Ukraine. There are among them: W. Gubarenki’s - mono-opera “Tenderness”, M. Glinka’s “Rusłan i Ludmiła”, L. van Beethoven’s Fidelio, Puszkin and Swiridow –“ Snow storm” – music- dramatic spectacle and also Peer Gynth and Grieg’s music-stage spectacle.
Artist performed as guest conductor with philharmonic orchestras in Poland, Russia, Italy, Korea and Japan. In Seul Opera he conducted performances like Puccini’s Toski, Pagliacci’s Leoncavalla and Mascagnini’s “Cavaleria Rusticana” . He cooperated also with concert tournée with Symphonic Orchestra of National Opera of Ukraine, also as guest in Austria, Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland, Japan, Poland and Turkey. He was an participant many of international competitions which take place in Ukraine, like: Music Festival in Kiev, Music Premier of New Season in Kiev, sery “Wladymyr Krajnew invite…” (Kiev), Virtuoso festival ( Lwow), and also foreign music events in St. Maximin (France), festival La Chaise- Dieu (France), festival Hectora Berlioza in La Côte-Saint-André (France), festival in Bleckede (Germany) and Wroclaw (Poland) and Days of Ukraine Culture in Switzerland.
In 1998 he received honorable title “Deserved for Ukraine Art”, in 2003 national prize – Order “For deserts” 3th class. In 2005 French government honored him by Order Kawalersky of Art and Literature”.
Nikolai Dyadiura is one of outstanding representatives of his conductors generation in Ukraine- these words characterized teacher of Dyadiura- Roman Kofman.
